Executive Director and Chairman
Lawrence G WattsJ.P.(QUAL). FAIM.MAICD. MAIPM.
Mr. Watts has over twenty five years' experience in senior positions in Project Management, Accounting, Marketing and Business Development. In a wide ranging career he has held positions as, Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director, Company Secretary (public and private companies), Project Director and Project Manager of major projects. The sectors in which he has held these positions include- Commercial, Industrial Property, International Hotels, Mining, Prestige Residential Property, Health and Aged Care Developments, Biotechnology Commercialisation, and business start-up activities.
He has a comprehensive background in Accountancy, Commerce, Financial Management, Contract Law, Marketing and Project Management.
He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, a Member of the Australian Institute of Project Management, a Member of the Institute of Company Directors, A Justice of the Peace (Qualified), a Member of the Queensland Justices' and Community Legal Officers' Association Inc. He is on the Panel of Advisors and Administrators, Department of Health and Aged Care, Complaints and Compliance Taskforce.
He is a member of the Brisbane Club and foundation member of the Brisbane Polo Club.
Past Director, Treasurer and Membership Registrar of the Australian Light Horse Association Limited.
Past President of the 5th Australian Light Horse Regiment, Maleny Troop for ten years, and Member of the 14th Australian Light Horse Regiment, Mudgeeraba Troop.
Represented the Australian Light Horse (14th Mudgeeraba team member) at the 2001 and 2004 Calgary Stampede in Canada.
Past President South East Queensland Quarter Horse Association.
Active horseman and Event Coordinator.
Company Secretary
Mr Jeremy MartineauJeremy has a background in law and, though no longer practising, remains admitted in both the UK and Australia. Throughout his career he has specialized in company transactional work where he has extensive experience in legal, project-management and lead advisory capacities covering acquisition and disposal work and a wide range of private equity investment. The main focus of his experience has been private business, often businesses with a strong growth profile or growth prospects.
He was a partner with a substantial and long-established commercial firm in Birmingham for ten years before moving to Brisbane in 1996 where he also practised with a leading firm from 1996. He subsequently worked in the corporate finance & investment banking practice of PriceWaterhouseCoopers where he was involved in initiating, structuring and managing a number of transactions (equity investments and company sales) to successful completion. He holds a diploma in entrepreneurship studies.
